Your investment will help grow your Mundo Verde Community

Mundo Verde is a successful school, in large thanks to the support of its amazing community of families.

Mundo Verde families have all kinds of backgrounds and earning levels. For people who can afford it, we are suggesting a donation of $350 per child. If your family cannot make a contribution of that size, we understand. We are pushing for 100% family participation in our annual campaign--a $5 donation is truly a contribution to that goal.

This year’s efforts will:

• Seed a campus library
• Develop a turf field
• Contribute to weeklong Teacher Appreciation Activities that occur annually in the spring

Campus Library: The top priority for families in our annual survey was to fund a new library at our school. Funds raised will go toward new shelving, seating, a collection of Spanish and English books, and library management software. Estimated expenses are $40,000.

Turf Field: Parents’ second priority was to bring a turf to the area behind the school to support active play and sports. Estimated expenses are $40,000.

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Support: Each year, Padres supports acts of teacher and staff appreciation, including a weeklong celebration of teachers and staff and a variety of events and support throughout the year. Estimated expenses are $10,000.
