Fundraising Philosophy
Mundo Verde Padres believes supporting an inclusive and equitable community requires strengthening the infrastructure, relationships, and networks within our school.
Padres Fundraising 101
Fall
After a very long hiatus, Padres is re-eductating ourselves on fundraising practices and principals to ensure a sustainable non-profit for years to come. We have decided to kick off our Fall 2023 campaign with several different initiatives.
You can donate directly to the Padres General Fund HERE. Remember to select $0.00 when choosing the optional Zeffy donation.
General Fund
1) Individual Donations (Goal $25,000).
Support the 5th Grade Trip to Puerto Rico.
Supplement field work (this year's school priority): included museum admissions, show tickets, and transportation.
Community building events (i.e., baseball game), teacher appreciation, classroom supplies.
General non-profit operating expense.
We will hold events throughout the year!
2) Corporate Sponsors (Goal $15,000). WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO GET SPONSORS. CONTACT mvpadrescomms@gmail.com.
Contributes directly to Padres General Fund.
We need volunteers to get sponsors.

Holidays
In the month of December, MV directly collects funds to be distributed equitably across campuses to all employees. More details to come.
Spring
Fundraising centered around Fiesta, our annual gala, with a variety of ways to give:

In-kind donations for supplies/ food
Ticket purchase
Corporate sponsorship
Volunteering your time
End of Year
