• Mark your calendars for the next PTO Monthly Meeting Nov. 4 from 4:30-5:30PM (in-person in the Zocalo or virtual; use the meeting link here). 

• Check out the all-new, integrated calendar for Mundo Verde Cook on the Padres website. It incorporates the school’s official calendar, the Mundo Verde school closures calendar, and the Padres calendar. Follow instructions via the link to add it to your own. 

• Committees make Padres PTO goals a reality! Please consider joining a committee. Read more and sign up here.

• We want to hear from you! Our new Parent Feedback Tracker makes it easy to share ideas, concerns, or kudos about the Extended Day program. Submissions are reviewed regularly with staff so we can keep improving together. 

Events:

• Oct. 17, 8-8:45AM, join the Padres Board and committee volunteers for a fresh cup of coffee during morning drop off! New this year, we're excited to highlight local coffee roasters at each coffee hour. 

• Oct. 17, 4-7PM, Viva Viernes happy hour at Hi-Lawn Union Market.

• Oct. 19, 3:30-5:30PM, join the LGBTQ Families Group for their first group event at Alethia Tanner Park. 

• Oct. 21, 7:30-8:30PM, join the Learning and Enrichment committee for conversations and planning related to academics and extended day. Link to join here.
