Every family can help make Mundo Verde J.F. Cook the best it can be—for your child, for all our students today, and for the children who'll learn here in years to come. Padres leads the Caregiver Investment Program, a year-long fundraising effort organized around three clear priorities:
💚 COOK CAMPUS GENERAL FUND
Support what keeps Cook thriving day-to-day: academic initiatives, committee priorities, community-building events, campus improvements, and other investments that help bring the school's strategic plan to life.
🧭 EXPEDITIONS FUND 🌴
Make learning by doing possible—field studies for PK-4, museum visits, expert classroom guests, and the transformative Mundo Verde Capstone trip to Puerto Rico.
Every Gift Matters
Fundraising is a critical part of every school community, but it's not the only way to contribute. Your time, skills, and in-kind contributions are also needed! We continue to be grateful for all the ways our families and caregivers support our school community.
💚 SHOW THE LOVE FUND : COOK CAMPUS SPECIFIC FUND
What is it?
Show the Love is the primary Cook Campus community fund and the focus of our Fall Campaign.
What does it support?
This is our most flexible fund. Donations can support academic initiatives, Padres committee priorities, community-building events, campus improvements, and other investments that benefit the Cook community.
Why give here?
This is a flexible fund that allows Padres to respond to needs and opportunities throughout the school year.
Is it just for Cook?
Yes. Show the Love supports the Mundo Verde J.F. Cook Campus community.
When will I hear about it?
Our Fall Campaign is our primary Show the Love fundraising effort, and it gives Padres a strong financial foundation for the school year.
🌴 EXPEDITIONS FUND
What is it?
The Expeditions Fund supports the hands-on, experiential learning that is central to the Mundo Verde experience.
What does it support?
Funds support field studies, museum visits, classroom experts, and other experiential-learning opportunities, including the 4th Grade Nature Bridge and 5th Grade Puerto Rico Capstone trips.
Why is this a separate fund?
Keeping Expeditions separate allows families and community partners to specifically support learning experiences outside the traditional classroom.
Is it only for the Puerto Rico trip?
No. The 5th-grade Puerto Rico Capstone is a major investment, but the broader goal of a robust Expeditions Fund is to support experiential learning opportunities across all grades.
When will I hear about it?
Expeditions fundraising happens throughout the school year and is often connected to specific experiences, events, or activities. This means you may hear about Expeditions at different points in the year rather than through one large annual campaign.
