Save the Date: May 2! Date Night, Friends Night… Fiesta Night 💃🍷
Welcome to Fiesta: A Taste of Argentina!
Fiesta is the annual signature fundraiser hosted by Padres de Mundo Verde Cook Campus — and this year we're heading to Argentina! Join us on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 6:30–11pm at The Hill Center, 921 Pennsylvania Ave SE on Capitol Hill for an unforgettable evening of Argentine-inspired food and wine, a live tango performance, a silent auction, and the beloved Mundo Flip Cup Tournament.
Fiesta is open to Mundo Verde families, staff, and friends of the school. All guests must be 21+.
All proceeds benefit the Show the Love Fund, supporting the 600+ students of Mundo Verde Cook Campus. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
What does my ticket include? Your ticket includes Argentine-inspired food, wine tasting, tango performance, DJ and dancing, access to the silent auction, and entry to the Mundo Flip Cup Tournament.
How much do tickets cost? Early bird tickets are available now through April 12 at a reduced price. Standard pricing begins April 13. Email mvpadresfundraising@gmail.com for details or visit https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/fiesta--2026.
What is the dress code? Buenos Aires Nights – Festive Chic
Think stylish night out in Argentina—effortless, colorful, and a little bold. Flowy dresses, chic tops, linen shirts, and polished-casual looks encouraged. Add a pop of red, a statement accessory, or something dance-ready for a festive touch!
Prefer to keep it casual? Come as you are!
An Argentina soccer jersey, jeans, or your favorite everyday outfit is absolutely welcome. Whether you’re dressed up or dressed down, the goal is to feel comfortable, festive, and ready to have fun.
What is the early bird gift? The first 75 registrations will receive a Mundo Verde magnet or lawn sign — our gift to you for being part of the Fiesta community!
Can I buy tickets at the door? We strongly encourage advance purchase as space is limited. Door tickets may be available depending on capacity.
Can I get a refund? Tickets are non-refundable but are transferable. Email mvpadresfundraising@gmail.com if you need to transfer your ticket.
What kind of food will be served? We're bringing the flavors of Argentina to Capitol Hill — think empanadas, Argentine-inspired buffet dishes, and a dessert spread including an affogato bar opening at 9:30pm. Food is served from 6:30–8:30pm.
Will there be non-alcoholic options? Absolutely. Non-alcoholic beverages are available throughout the evening.
Will there be vegetarian or allergy-friendly options? We are working to accommodate dietary needs. Please email mvpadresfundraising@gmail.com with specific questions.
How does the silent auction work? Browse and bid on items online before and during the event. The auction goes live on April 13. You will receive outbid notifications so you can stay in the game from wherever you are.
When does the auction close? The silent auction closes at 10pm on May 2.
How do I pay for items I win? Payment details will be shared through the auction platform. All major credit cards accepted.
Where do the proceeds go? All proceeds benefit the Show the Love Fund, which supports the 600+ students at Mundo Verde Cook Campus through teacher appreciation, curriculum materials, cultural programming, community space improvements.
Is my ticket purchase tax deductible? The portion of your ticket above fair market value may be tax deductible. Padres de Mundo Verde Cook Campus is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, EIN 92-2256067.
How can I become a sponsor? We have four sponsorship tiers starting at $500. See our Sponsorship page for full details or email mvpadresfundraising@gmail.com.
How else can I support Fiesta? Donate an auction item, volunteer, or spread the word! Email mvpadresfundraising@gmail.com for all three.
Will there be a tango performance? Yes! A professional tango performance takes place in the East Garden from 6:45–8:30pm.
What is the Mundo Flip Cup Tournament? The Mundo Flip Cup Tournament returns! Teams of 5 compete starting at 8:30pm. Want to form a team? Email mvpadresfundraising@gmail.com.
Is there music and dancing? Yes — DJ Bananas and dancing from 8pm–11pm
What is a wine pull? A wine pull is where guests pay a fixed price to “pull” a bottle of wine from a curated selection — without knowing which bottle they’ll get until it’s in their hands!
Every bottle is wrapped or hidden so the labels are a surprise. Bottles range in value — some are everyday wines worth around the price you paid, and some are premium bottles worth significantly more— you might walk away with a $15 bottle or a $60 bottle. You can buy your wine pull ticket at registration or at the event, if tickets remain.
